Homemade wheat bread

Here is my recipe for 1/2 wheat, 1/2 white bread.

4 cups water
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup gluten
2 Tbsp SAF instant yeast
wheat flour
2 Tbsp salt
white flour

Combine the fist 5 ingredients.


Add enough wheat flour to make a paste.




Let sit for 1/2 - 1 hour.



Add salt and enough white flour so that it pulls away from the edge, but is still sticky.



Let the dough raise for an hour.



Shape into loaves. Let raise 1 hour.







Bake at 350* for 30 min. Makes 4 loaves.
